IChO 2026: Committee Members in SAMARKAND!
As part of the preparation process for the International Chemistry Olympiad, members of the Steering, Scientific, and Organizing Committees visited Samarkand city, the Pearl of Central Asia.
🏛 Cultural Tour Program
The visit program began with a tour of the Amir Temur Mausoleum. Afterwards, the guests had the opportunity to explore the historic Registan Square.
🌐 Educational Tour
During the cultural and educational tour, committee members visited the Observatory of Mirzo Ulugbek and a traditional carpet-weaving factory, where they observed the handcrafting of carpets rich in national patterns. This allowed them to gain deep insight into the country's rich scientific and cultural heritage.
